Prabhupada kijaya! > Sounds a little funny that you might consider that things established in > Srila Prabhupada's presence at his "home" in Vrindavan might be mistaken? Srila Prabhupada would change his policies when he saw problems. We should look carefully at WHY a policy was established to see if changes are allowed or not. > But... well, maybe I'm wrong in this assumption? I don't claim to be > perfect. > > But Mahaman Prabhu's logic, if indeed the system has been established > directly under the supervision of HDG SP, then holds true. WE must look beyond the system to the reasons for the system to determine if it still holds true. Plus, we should not isolate one particular policy from overall principles, instructions and directions Srila Prabhupada gave for our Society. If we find that systems of managing darshan arrangements are creating difficulties then we should apply our intelligence to satisfying the basic principle - that all devotees should enjoy peaceful darshan as far as possible. Unfortunately, the Vrindavan darshan mandap is far too small for the number of visitors, so practically any arrangement will be less than perfect. However, I can't see how Srila Prabhupada would object if we made changes in order to better accommodate ladies having darshan of Their Lordships. Your servant, Pancaratna das PS We all know that in the last years of his physical presence Srila Prabhupada repeatedly called for establishing varnashrama training, seeing various difficulties in earlier policies. He called for varnashram college to be established in "every center". If we would put more effort into pursuing this policy we may find the answers to other dilemmas. However, previous previous arrangements which were mutually agreed upon by the management and the representative of ladies and still continue to be defied by them. This defiance of the authorities caused and continue to cause problems. Do you think Srila Prabhupada will be pleased with the blatant defiance of authorities by these women? >From what I know, Srila Prabhuppada alwaya support the management. Thanking you Your servant Mahaman Das
