I don't think it would be out of line to point out that "sucks" is not

appropriate Vaishnava terminology. It belittles both the speaker and the

listener.

 

These misogynist threads should be terminated anyway, because there has

ceased to be any useful discussion. "Demonization" is a well-known,

dishonest debate strategy.

 

Demonization is the process in which individuals are lumped in to a

category and then the category is given an unflattering connotation. For

example: In modern warfare, many non-ksatriya types are deployed as

soldiers. Since these soldiers are not by nature inclined to kill, the

commanders encourage depersonalization of the enemy. If a soldier in battle

thinks of the person he is shooting at as an individual like himself -- with

a wife and family, with hopes and fears as he has -- then he may hesitate to

fire. But if the enemy is given an ugly moniker like kraut, nip or gook, and

the enemy soldier is simply a member of that awful group, then it is much

easier to pull the trigger.

 

If our debates descend to the level of evaluating the mental health and

psychological state of participants, then the discussion ceases to have any

useful purpose and simply becomes a breeding ground for offense.

This was one of the best comments I ever read about this.

Sometimes it is really so obviously stupidity what comes out of the

mind of our great societysaver-MAN.

Actually they need very much love and compassion to find the healthy path.
