theist
Today is Memeorial Day in America. This day has been set aside for rememberance, reflection and appreciation of all the American soldiers lives lost in America's wars with other nations. (Of course, it is used for an eat hot dogs and drink beer by the vast majority with hardly a passing thought spent in thankfulness of the sacrifices that went before us. I like to expand the basic idea to include the common soldiers of all nations who get slaughtered on battlefields world wide while under the force or emotional influence of the world's ego maddened despots in the guise of leaders. Duryodhana qualifies certainly. We all know the names of the great heros like Arjuna and Bhisma, but here is a toast to the fallen foot soldier trampled under the elephants foot in battle and those that died agonizingly from the arrows and spears that peirced their bodies. A rememberance also to their families and friends who had someone of signifigance in their lives ripped away from them in such horrific ways. To them...
