This is the first memoir about Srila Prabhupada written by one of his female

disciples! You've read biographies about him before, but never one from the

point of view of a woman in the Hare Krishna Movement.

 

I describe how I joined the movement in Boston in 1971, after growing up in

New York, starting college and becoming a hippie. I recall my adventures as

a devotee in America and India in the 1970's. While living in Mayapur I

became the personal servant of Srila Prabhupada's sister, Pisima, and often

attended Srila Prabhupada's evening darshans. Their association inspired me

to write this memoir.

 

Hard-bound, *Srila Prabhupada Is Coming!* contains 280 pages of text and 16

pages of full-color photos, including several never-seen-before photos of

Srila Prabhupada and devotees in the early days. For ordering information,
