Guest guest
Hare Krishna. Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. After two years of ill health, Govinda devi dasi (formerly Jaya Pradha dasi), of New Nandagrama, is preparing to leave her body in the next hours or days. She is comfortable, in good consciousness, and clear mind. Goivinda is blessed with the association of her Guru Maharaja, His Grace Bhurijana Prabhu, and many devotee friends from Melbourne Temple and New Nandagrama, who are assisting her at this most significant time. She offers her respectful obeisances to all the vaisnavas and begs forgiveness for all her offences. On behalf of Govinda may I request from the devotees their best wishes and prayers for her return to Goloka Vrindavan, which is her dearmost desire? Thank you very much. Guest guest
Dear Cakra prabhu, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Thank you so much for your letter. You are performing a valuable service. Leaving these material bodies is something all of us have to face and I pray for the good fortune of having advanced devotees like yourself assist me at that time. Although I do not know Govinda devi dasi I am sure that she is very dear to Krishna, since He is giving her such nice association at her time of death. This is the greatest gift of all that Srila Prabhupada has given, the company of devotees chanting the names of the Lord as we approach our death. My wife, Kusa devi dasi, and I will say a prayer for her and wish her our best. Yours in the service of Srila Prabhupada, Srutakirti dasa
Guest guest
Dear Govinda devi dasi, Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. It was nice seeing you at our Lorne program, dancing and chanting to the Hare Krsna maha mantra, even in your weakened condition. Of course I've known for years that you've been ill, but now it appears your final days in this world are here. All of us will be in the same position sooner or later. Just recently in Indonesia I wasn't feeling well. I went to a house program and the devotees were having such a wonderful kirtan that I thought, "Wouldn't it be nice to leave this world in the middle of a blissful kirtana, chanting Hare Krsna". I was so absorbed. I'm sure you are even more absorbed in thoughts of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna. Sri Krsna will certainly take you with Him, to eternal, ever effulgent Goloka Vrndavan, to be with all the nitya siddha loving devotees. Please save a spot for me. your servant Ramai Swami
