rath-yatra of Malaga 15th April 2000

Dear prabhus and matajis,

 

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Shrila Prabhupada.

 

We are honoured to announce the celebration of our fifth rath-yatra in

Malaga, Southern Spain, which we expect this year to be better than any

other year. Firstly we shall be honoured with the visit of H.D.G Bhakti Caru

Swami for four days. Then we are having an open-air concert of the famous

group UNDROP, who were on the number one on the Spanish top 40 chart early

last year with their song called "going away". The group is made up of

initiated devotees and have a lot of influence on the younsters in Spain to

lead a simple way of life of no drugs and alcohol etc.,

 

The procession of the cart of Lord Jaganatha is going to take place at 6.30

p.m. on Saturday the 15th of April,2000 and the concert will start at 9 p.m.

 

All are welcome to come and join us. We look forward to your association on

the sunny coast of Malaga. The next day starts one week of easter holidays

in which hugh thrones, all bright, golden and decorated fully with fresh

flowers carrying Mother Mary and Jesus Christ are taken out on the streets

throughout Spain and Malaga procession is one of the best.

 

Please let us know as soon as possible for making the arrangements of

accomodations as we only have one school gym and a few congregational

members' homes to accomodate. If you do not mind the gym then please bring

along a sleeping bag or mattress. If you prefer a hotel etc., then please

get in touch with me on the above address or Madhavi manjari dasi as soon as

possible as the hotels are fully booked in this season of easter.
