Guest guest
Dear Devotees, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. This is to announce the newly-launched website - vaishnavake.com - which currently highlights the pressing demands from all quarters for change in ISKCON management. There are many proposals now to revamp ISKCON management from the top-down, starting from the GBC. In just a few days, the annual GBC meetings start in Mayapur and these proposals are on the agenda for discussion. Vaishnavake.com highlights three major proposals for change. They are from: 1) a group headed by HG Sri Rama das whose proposal includes removing all gurus, sannyasis and brahmacaries from management positions. Only grhasthas and non-saffron vanaprasthas are to manage. 2) current GBC chairman HG Ravindra Svarupa das whose proposal reportedly calls for reorganising and retraining ISKCON management at four levels, including removing all sannyasis from a GBC to be reduced in size and term. 3) GBC Restructure Taskforce parlimentarian HH Jayapataka Maharaja whose proposal calls for the GBC to be selected regardless of asrama, race or gender from those most qualified to perform the brahminical duty of overseeing and inspiring managers to assume hands-on management in the Executive Council, regional and local levels. To gauge the views of site visitors on this topic, a polls facility has been set up where anybody can vote on any of the above three proposals. To vote, you have to fill the following details in an online form: Legal Name Initiated Name (if any) email address Residence Country-City Spiritual Master (if any) Initiation Date and Place The details of each vote is recorded for verification.
