Our Vancouver temple has completed our efforts for the prasadam distribution

for the earthquake victims.. We will be sending it to your account and

should be there within a couple of days. It will go to the account listed

below as per the recent email from iskcon baroda.. and bashu gosh prabhu's

email dated January 28th.

As a regular course our ISKCON Vancouver has regularly been sending such

contributions for various disasters..such as the huricane a year ago and the

more recent Mayapur Flooding.

 

This earthquake however has generated the most compassionate response from

our congregation to date. Close to $10,000 cdn.

 

However there is one small concern regarding acknowledement of funds

received. In the past, particularly for the huricane disaster, we did not

receive confirmation that the funds we sent were properly received. I know

the primary efforts and important thing is to help the victims and that this

sort of administrative red tape is certainly over-shadowed by that.

Especially if there is limited manpower and any extra manpower may be

directed to the actual relief work.

 

In anycase: I would like to hunbly request that if some kind of offical

acknowledgement could be communicated to us that the funds were recieved and

utilized it would be greatly appreciated. It would also reasure us to

continue with such support in the future.
