Perhaps he is totally off - then I'd like to know how he is off, not just to hear vague accusations and warnings." "Whom does he not rever, whom does he criticize, what exactly did he say, at least one good and trustworthy quote, and these letters of warning are acceptable. Otherwise they remain just so much useless buzz." ---------- I was involved in this case a few years ago when Satya Narayan Prabhu was asked to vacate the Krsna Balarama Temple. I had first asked him who his main link to the parampara was? He has been initiated by Bhakti Svarupa Damadora Maharaja who is in good standing as an Iskcon guru. The truth is that he feels his main connection is through a babaji of Vrndaban, so he didn't answer me straightforwardly, but said something like;"What ever belief I have I keep confidential" This was also not really true as he had confided to some students from ICC Kanpur about his real affinity to that babaji. Next I asked him what his opinion of Srila Bhaktisiddanta Maharaj was? " Now he became visably upset by my line of questions and again stressed that he wasn't preaching about these things. The real fact however is that under the influence of this babaji he has lost faith in Srila Bhaktisiddanta and Srila Prabhupada. They claim that Srila Bhaktisiddanta is not bonafide because he took sannyas, which is not recommended in the Kali Yuga and that Srila Prabhupada is also not up to the mark because he didn't regularly hear from his Guru Maharaja, which is required in order for one to receive transcendental knowledge. There are more "cards" I could put on the table, but this should be enough for any sane member of Iskcon.
