Dear Prabhus,

Namonamaha. Jaya Srila Prabhupada!

At the Mayapur GBC meetings earlier this year, H.H. B.B. Govinda Maharaj

became GBC for the Middle East (except for the G.C.C. countries of the

Persian/Arab Gulf region) and Northern African Arabic speaking countries.

At that time it was proposed that I be the "Regional Secretary" for the

area.

Both Maharaj and I are interested to see that an ISKCON center is opened in

an Arabic speaking country. However, to be frank, we don't have a devotee

with us who is ready to "head up"/"lead" the efforts "on the ground", on a

day to day basis. Yes, we are looking for a Temple President. Someone to

start the activities there from literally "scratch" (from nothing)!

If anyone reading this message is interested to help in opening such a

center in the area, kindly contact me personally via e-mail. Even if you

are not interested to be the Temple President.

And... if anyone who reads this is "willing and able" to do so - who is

willing to take up the responsibilty of Temple President - please write to

me via e-mail at the earliest.

Thank you all for your kind consideration. Srila Prabhupada wrote that he

would bless those who preached to the Muslims...

Hope this finds you well.

Vaishnava dasanudas,

Basu Ghosh Das
