Dear Maharajas, Prabhus, and matajis,

On the upcoming auspicious day of "Aashadh Shukla Dvitiya", which falls this

year on Monday, 3rd July, 2000, ISKCON Baroda will be once again organizing

it's annual grand "Sri Jagannath Rathayatra Mahotsav" - the Jagannath

Rathayatra Festival.

 

For the information of devotees both in India and around the world, this

Rathayatra is seen literally by lakhs of citizens of the town, who line the

main roads of the city in anticipation of the holy "darshan" of Their

Lordships when the Rath passes infront of them.

 

Usually, as per the ancient tradition at Puri, the Mayor will sweep the road

in front of the Rath, and most of the political leaders of the town will

also be present.

 

We cordially invite all the readers of this message to attend the festival.

If you can come, if you will be in India at that time (for "International"

readers of this message) then kindly let me know via e-mail so that we can

make suitable arrangements for your stay here during the festival.
