Sridhar Swami and Guru Maharaj are very close and old friends, having served Srila Prabhupada together in India since 1973. Sridhar Maharaj has been suffering from hepatitis C and cirrhosis of the liver, but Saturday he became affected by hepatic encephalopathy and began to slip into a comatose condition. Now he is in the Intensive Care Unit of the main hospital in Santa Barbara. Guru Maharaj desires that all devotees and friends pray for the quick and full recovery of His Holiness Sridhar Swami Maharaj. Thank you. Hare Krishna.
