Many members of the Druze Community in the Holy land of Galilee are in India

visiting some holy places (India) and searching for their roots in this

very ancient country (India), Polifacetic nation with different cultures and

rich in History and archeology. as per the Druze believe, the origin of

their believes and roots are in India, and somehow or other they found that

there are many similar things between the Doctrine of the Druze and the

Vedic culture, basically about reincarnation of the Soul and the Five

truths, (Divine Universal principles).

 

The Druze religion has many members in the Middle East Countries ( Syria,

Lebanon, Jordan, Israel & Palestine)

 

The Leader of the Group is Sheikh Hussein Aburukn, who is member of the

Supreme board for the religious affairs of the Druze Community. He is

accompanied by many members ( 11 in total) who are coming to explore more

about the Vedic knowledge and had the opportunity to meet with spiritual

leaders in the State of West Bengal ( Mayapur- Dist, of Nadia) Appearance

place of Sri Garuanga Mahaprabhu and the Panca Tattwa, and were hosted by

the International Society for Krsna Consciousness, which was founded by His

Divine Grace A.C, Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, world known by His

translating the ancients books of the Vedas in to English and by making

famous all over the planet the Maha Mantra Hare Krishna and the Essence of

Pure Love for Godhead.

 

The Druze Leaders were received by many Hindu- Vaisnava Leaders officially

in a ceremony on the same day of the main celebration in the year

(Gaur-Purnima Festival 2001, March, 9th). and there were exchange of Gifts

in where they were impressed by the similitude in the colors of their flag (

Green, yellow, blue, red and white) and the Pavitra from one of the

Vaisnavas Leaders of the ISKCON society , HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaja, also

were present form ISKCON, HH Mahavishnu Swami and HH Subhag Maharaj and

Bhakti Purusottama Swami coordinator of the festival of Gaur- purnima 2001.

 

The druze leaders had good association and had different meetings to enquire

about the absolute truth in India and visited many holy places in the Nine

Islands of Sri Navadwipa Dham.

 

In Jagannath Puri they were received by His Majesty the King of Puri Divya

Singh Deva and many scholars and pandits, during the meeting there were a

special session of Questions and Answers about different aspects of the

Absolute truth and different incarnations of the Supreme Lord.

 

The Druze leaders are planning to stay many days more in India and will

visit other parts and cultures in India including the Dalai Lama and the

Sikh community in Amristar.
