The brother of a friend of mine drowned today. He has not been a devotee although was quite favorable towards Krishna Consciousness. His relatives are going to bury him and nothing can be done about this. His sister, a devotee, is asking what can be done in order to help his soul? She is lamenting that his body is destined to decay in earth. Which prayers, what ceremonies etc can be performed? I know about some ceremonies which are performed when a devotee of Krishna dies. But I am not sure they are applicable to nondevotees. I beg you to answer as soon as possible. Thank you very much in advance!
