Dear Devotees,

please accept my humble obeicances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada!

A devotee named Nandibardhaka prabhu gave up his body on Thursday, fifth of

October. He joined around 15 years ago in Sweden and did service in the

temple-kitchen there. He was sick from birth with a kind of schizophrenia.

When it got worse with him he came back to germany (his land of birth) in

1997. Until 1999 he was living in an christian living-comunity with other

persons who had troubles with their nerves. There he tried his best to stick

to his sadhana. He liked chanting very much and reguarly visited the temple

Goloka dhama in Abentheuer. He also preached to people he had contact to and

was liked by the members of the living-comunity where he cooked sometimes

prasadam for them. Last time he was here taking part in the summer-festival.

He danced in ecstasy and looked very happy in the association of the

devotees.

In the year 1999 he rented his own flat, where he now fell from the balcony.

It is not known if it was suicide or an accident. His mother who informed me

asked the devotees to pray for him. She had a good relationship to him being

a religious person herself. She accepted his spiritual life and everything

she cooked for him was offered before to Gopalji which was worshipped also

by the mother with flowers every day. Although she wants to be accepted as a

christian she participated in his spiritual life cooperatively.

 

May Srila Prabhupada and Sri Sri Radha-Krishna engage Nandibardhaka p. in

devotional service.
