Guest guest
"ISKCON Summer Camp in Croatia" Dear Vaisnavas! Hare Krsna. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! We are inviting you once again to the ISKCON Summer Festival, our traditional, transcendental summer association in Premantura, a small town on the Croatian coast, in Istria. The organization of this festival is under the jurisdiction of ISKCON Croatia. This summer camp will be located in the auto-camp "Tašalera", and will take place from 20th to 29th August 2001. We would like to give you some useful information so that your stay will be as pleasant as we can make it. - Everyone is welcomed to come to the camp beginning with the morning of 20th August. - The official opening will be held at the big tent at 7pm the same day. - The price for the entire camp is 135.- DM (15.- DM per night). - The price includes: stay in your own tent; all of the seminars; entrance to all the other programs (morning and evening cultural programs, concerts, plays etc.) - The price does not include other minor expences such as: car-park, your own trailers, dogs etc. - According to the camp rules, children under 2 have free accommodation, children 2-16 years of age pay 50% of the price, and those over 16 pay the full price. - Devotees staying outside the auto-cap (those who rent rooms in Premantura) pay a day-ticket of 20.- KN (approximately 5.- DM), which includes the stay in the camp, seminars, and other programs. Our special guests and their respective seminars are as follows: - HH Sacinandana Swami: Brahma-samhita - HH Paramgati Swami: Siskastaka - HH Bhaktitirtha Swami:The Power of Forgiveness in the Vaisnava communities. Taking Greater Shelter of Prayer (Vandanama) in Our Lives. - HH Lokanatha Swami: (still unkown) - HH Bhakti Vikas Swami:Stories from Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur - HH Jayapataka Swami: (still unkown) Regarding the cultural program, we would especially like to point your attention to the evening play "Mahabharata" (by Gaura-Gadadhara Dasa from Zagreb); a few shorter plays under Purujit Dasa; Hare Krsna concert by bhakta Goran Karan; Nama-yajna and a special slide-show by HH Sacinandana Swami; and an evening "My favourite Caitanya-lila", dedicated to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, under all the present sannyasis. The highlight of the cultural program will be the Radhasthami festival accompanied by the traditional abhiseka, bhajans and a slide-show. There are also a couple of surprises in regard to the cultural program. For those devotees coming to the camp for the first time, here is a short description of the location of the auto-camp "Tašalera". You can come to Pula either via Trieste and Kopar or via Rijeka. When you reach Pula, follow the very precise road-signs for Premantura, a small tourist village about 12 km South-East of Pula. You will know you are reaching Premantura when you can see the Adriatic Sea on your left, after you have passed a dam and a small beach also to your left. Keep paying attention to your left side, where you will soon see the entrance to the "Tašalera" camp. The devotees on the reception there will help you with your accommodiation. During the camp you can always contact the following organizers: * Dinanatha dasa (devotees' accommodation, the big tent, reception, maintainance...) * Ripuha dasa (kitchen, sannyasis' accommodation and care, Radhasthami festival...) * Dadhibhaksa dasa (altar, cultural program, seminars and lectures scheduales, Radhasthami festival...) Please send all of your questions, ideas and suggestions to the CFF or the Croatian Summer Camp Festival conferences, so that everyone can benefit from the answers. You can also contact Dinanatha Dasa by phone in Pula (+385) 52-550-636. The Organization Committee of the ISKCON Summer Festival
Guest guest
> Hare Krsna. > I guess prasadam is also included in this category...some more > information about it? Yes, prasadam is not included in price. There will be 2 kitchens and prasadam is approx. 85.- DM for 9 days (breakfast and lunch). There will be also other separate arragements, so devotees can buy prasadam on daily basis like last year. ys Dbd
