He was in a Siberia prison-temperture was 50 below-the windows were caked with ice-it was pitch black because of all the ice frozen on the windows-he had to sew on sewing machines for 10-12 hours each day-around the clock-at night you would hear some guys screaming and you knew he fell asleep at the sewing machine and sewed his fingers together..He would use two matchsticks and sting from his socks to wrap around some metal and boil water to have hot clean water to drink.One devotee died in prison. was bad...they would trade meat for bread. They would make beads out of bread and string from their socks. They were given shots to make them crazy. We hope to do a few shows about persecution, bigotry-all this because he would not give up his faith...I told him after all the filming...I would have given it up rather than do all that stuff he did...
