Clarification: Balarama Mridanga Repair Kit

Here is a clarification on my repair kit request:

 

The drum itself is fine, but the metal anchors that the screws go into are of

a weak design. They are pressed into holes in the fiberglass. The original

anchors relied on tiny ridges and maybe glue to stay in the hole. Some of them

have pulled out. The holes that the anchors were in are fine, other than being

a tiny bit larger than they were originally.

 

What is needed is a much more substantial anchor that will not pull out.

 

Anyone seen such a thing?
