His HOliness The Dalalai Lama received Druze Leaders

Dhrmashala - Himachal Pradesh India.

 

His Holiness the Dalalai Lama received in a private audience for more than

Hour and a Half the members of the druze community that are visiting India,

searching for their roots and discovering the great historical adn

archeological heritage that India has as one of the richest nationes in

spiritual knowledge and variety of toughts and filosofical schools.

 

The meeting was from 1pm - March 26th nd was held t the private residence of

HH the Dalalai Lama, there were a session of questiones and and answers from

both sides and at the end Shiek Hussain Abu Rukun pffered a special gift to

the Spiritual Leaders of the Tibetans in the exile ( a big symbol of the

Druze with a paint on holy wood of the Temple of Jetro ( Sacred palce of the

druze). as well HH the Dalalai Lama offered chadars to all the presents and

books about his life and the Tibetan Budism.

 

HH was very kind and showing humility to all the presents as well they took

many pictures with each.

 

These days are the main festivites in teh Dharmashala including special

lectures given by the Dalalai Lama and folkloric and cultural festival, also

more than 4000 students are asisting with more than 1500 foreigners from all

over the world for this special ocassions.
