FUND RAISING IN USA: GUIDELINES

Dear Outside Fundraisers

( who may be planning to come to the USA or are already here)

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila

Prabhupada!

As you know, North America is involved in a massive legal

battle at present. It's scale is unprecedented, and we as

officers are deeply committed to help develop fundraising

in N. America to take care of the legal defense.

Each of you have come to America frequently to raise funds

for your projects in India. We want you to know that a formal

policy has been established by the N. American Executive

Committee re. persons coming into America for the purpose of

raising funds, which follows strictly in the line of Srila

Prabhupada's directives from the past in this regard. This

policy was discussed amongst a number of N. American leaders

during our recent annual Continental meeting, with firm resolve

to see that this policy is to be upheld.

POLICY:

1) Any individual from outside of N. America who is desiring

to raise funds for any purpose within N. America must FIRST seek

prior permission from a given area's GBC Zonal Secretary, as well

as the local Temple President, in the area they wish to visit.

If permission is not given by either party, then the visitor

must not enter the area or contact persons within that area for

fundraising.

2) If agreement is given by the local TP and GBC to raise funds,

then 50% of those funds should go to the local temple.

We are expecting your full cooperation with us, in observing

this policy. If not, we will take strong, public action.
