VTE Teacher Training Course I

 

Thursday 17th - Tuesday 22nd October

Facilitator: Rasamandala das

Cost: 35 Euro + accommodation*

 

 

This six-day intensive course is highly participatory and suitable to a

broad spectrum of devotees with a wide range of teaching experience. It is

particularly appropriate for bhakta and bhaktin leaders and others involved

in training devotees. Preachers, managers, GBC ministers, communications

specialists and others interested in systematic training and education will

also find it of immense value and interest. The aims of this preliminary

course are as follows;

 

" Plan a lesson and write a corresponding lesson outline

" Learn about different teaching styles and methods, specifically

interactive and experiential learning

" Practice basic skills of delivery, facilitation and classroom

management

" Fun, highly interactive, intensive and transformational

 

Rasamandala das joined ISKCON in 1973 at Bhaktivedanta Manor. He is now the

director of ISKCON Educational Services and is serving the VTE (Vaisnava

Training and Education) in the fields of teacher training and curriculum

development.
