Can anyone tell me why one would save a file in word as an .rtf? Recently I made an elaborate document with pictures, and fancy fonts, and thought it might be good to save as an .rtf, but I found that the resulting document was 49 megabyts, wheras when I saved it as a .doc, it was only 2.5 megs!
