Goverdhan Puja in Houston Hare Krishna Dham was magnificent event.

His Grace Giraja Maharaja told the story of Goverdhan and Krishna saving the

village and becoming the hill. The curtains open and the alter was filled

with over 1500 preparations, There was rousing kirtan. Houston Hare Krishna

Dham http://www.iskconhouston.org/ is blessed with by Sri Griraja who was

brought to Houston by Tamal Krishna Goswami and installed on the alter over 10

years ago. He delights when the 700 devotees are so happy celebrating

Goverdhan Puja.

 

The night before the alter was filled with over 1000 candles celebrating

Diwali-Lord Rama’s return. The temple lights were turned off and the lights

of the 1000 candles mixed with the melodious kirtan and transported all of

the over 500 guests.
