One time, an early editor of BTG, wished to print an article in which

butchers were being condemned. SP did not approve, asking "Why should we attack

one

group or even one person?" Srila Bhaktisiddhanta gave the following

instruction to his disciples. That they should never criticize directly or by

name. He

used this example, he said, if you wish to talk about a "cow," do not say

directly "cow," rather "that large four legged animal with a tail that gives

milk."

This was his Vaishnave sensitivity and proper etiquette.
