Mayapur festival 2004 and Panchatattva instalation updates:

Preparation:

 

Festival preperation has started with full speed.

Pancha Tattva temple extention work is in progress.

Extra 100 Kutirs are reday to accomodate more devotees.

 

Accomodation:

 

In Mayapur all kinds of accomodations are almost full. First we booked all

rooms of our Guest house, then we built one hundred rooms thinking that we

will solve all our problems as now we have one hundred extra rooms . But

within no times those rooms were booked even before the rooms were built.

We have booked all nearby Gaudiya math guest houses and hotels. All rooms

are filled up there. We are using one of our prasad hall for accomodation,

Gurukula , Goshala and Agriculture go downs all have been transformed into

guest houses to accomodate thousands of devotees who will come for Festival

2004.

 

We have reached at our maximum.

 

NOW MOST HUMBLY I REQUSET DEVOTEES ,WHO EVER CAN AFORD ,PLEASE BRING TENTS

WITH YOU. WE WILL ASIGN A LOCATION WHERE THERE WILL BE TOILETS AND BATH ROOM

FACILITY AND YOU CAN PUT UP YOUR TENTS. WE WILL PUT SOME TENTS ALSO FOR

EXCESS DEVOTEES BUT STILL I REQUEST DEVOTEES TO BRING THEIR WON TENTS.

PLEASE INFORM US IN ADVANCE IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO COME WITH YOUR TENTS SO

THAT WE CAN RESERVE SPACE FOR YOU.

 

Deities instalation:

 

This ceremony will start from 21st Feb. Devotees are requested to reach

Mayapur before 21st Feb.

 

There will be continues Hari Nama in Panchatattva temple for three days

21st, 22nd and 23rd. Kirtan wil be lead by great kirtan leaders like

HH.Sivaram Swami. HH. Bhakti Bhringa Govinda Swami, HH. Sachinandana

Swami,HH. Loknath Swami, HH.Radhanath Swami, HH. Bhakti Charu Swami

HH. Kadamba Kanana Swami and many other great kirtan leaders. All devotees

are requested to participate in this most historic Hari Nama where thousands

of devotees will chant together for three days invoking the mercy of Lord

Panchatattava. Finally by the strong prayers of devotees Lord Pancha Tattava

will manifest and will be worshiped by the Sankirtan of Holy name. We

requset all devotees to come to Mayapur with all kinds of musical

instruments to participate in this most historic Hari Nam Sankirtan from

which Lord Gaura Hari along with His four associates will manifest in

Mayapur Dham in Their Deities form.

 

On 24th Feb. All devotees along with Panchatattava will go out on parikrama

all over Navadwip . This parikrama will continue for 6 days.

On 1st March all devotees will come back to Mayapur and spend the days with

different kinds of festivities , shoping, listening, chanting and

associating with devotees and waiting to celebrate the most auspicious Gaura

Purnima Day on 6th March. In between ther will be one day when devotees will

go to Santipore.

 

Deities :

 

Deities casting have been finished. Now they are doing final carving . It

has been scheduled that deities will be brought to Mayapur by last week of

December. All these deities will be put on the present Pancha Tattav alter.

There our Pujaries will give the final touch to the deities.

 

Pujari departent is bussy in preparing dresses for the deities and other

things.

HH. Bhakti Vidya Purna Swami along with Hg. Jananivas Das and Pankajanghri

Das have taken responsbility to look after all Yajna and abhishek etc

Different preparation has been started for instalation ceremony.

 

Mayapur festival comittee has been meeting time to time . All masure

services have been allocated to different responsible devotees who have

experience of handling the job for last many years. Ofcourse as this year is

very unique and much more devotees will attend the fetsival we need help of

any visiting devotees in different areas. If any one wants to do some

volunter service please contact me.

 

Parikrama:

 

This year thousands of devotees will come to Mayapur festival for Deities

instalation. We hope many of them will go on parikrama. But we have very

limited facilities in Parikrama site. We humbly request all those devotees

who desires to go on Navadwip mandla parikrama must book their place from

now. Please resister you name now for parikrama. You can do it through e

This year we are planning to have one Bengali Parikrama group, one english

parikrama group ,one Russian parikrama group, may be we will have to make

another group only for Indian devotees . Because we are expecting at least

one thousand non Benagali Indian devotees from different parts of India

will visit Mayapur.
