Guest guest
Everyone should bathe? Does that include women, if the GBC rules they have souls? Or children or the uninitiated? Does it include visitors? How long would it take for 10,000 devotees to bathe the Deities? Can someone just apply a little common sense here? According to the Goswamis, the pujari is doing arati on behalf of the assembled devotees, and they get the same benefit. I'm sure it would be the same for abhiseks. Make a cut off time for those eligible, like those initiated before Nov. 1977. Please don't commercialize the process by arranging payments in order to do the service. Raise the funds another more appropriate way.
Guest guest
Dandavad. Prabhupada kijaya! > I am wondering what will be the "price" asked to be part of the abhishek. > Will there be a charge that if one agrees to pay, they will be allowed or > will it only be "older" devotees or "advanced" or "important" devotees or > what? What are the proposed considerations and who will decide? As I understand it, there will only be the actual trained pujaris plus one GBC representative and one Mayapur representative. There is no question of a "price". Your servant, Pancaratna das
