Dear Bhakti Vijnana Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

It was very wonderful to hear of the contest on TV. Free advertizing and

public relations at its best.

It reminds me of the 1978 attack on our Bombay temple, when we were

all under house arrest. By the time the media got through with the

destruction campaign and the court cases, the whole population of Bombay

literally thronged to the temple just to see what the fuss was about. The

accusations were so ridiculous, the media simply lost credibility.

Previously, hardly any visitors had come.

Now, the rest is history. Millions come on Janmastami, thousands on

a daily basis.
