Dear Ganga Prabhu,

PAMHO.

AGTSP!

Please would you print and post the below at your temple, and ask the

temple presidents for temples in your area to do the same. Perhaps you

could make an announcement about it, or delegate to the devotee in charge

of sankirtana and book distribution.

The below is a new avenue that the BBT has been pursuing, giving

housewives, house husbands, or anyone tied down by a fulltime job who

dreams of being a Sankirtana devotee the opportunity to do so.

Your servant,

Manu dasa

Preach And Distribute Books From Home via Krishna.com Live Help

BBT Krishna.com, the website all about Krishna by the Bhaktivedanta Book

Trust, is offering service opportunities to aspiring Sankirtana devotees

who would like to preach on the Internet, from anywhere in the world. You

can do so in your spare time, in the background while you tend to other

work, as often or as little as you like, whenever you feel inspired, at

any time of day or night.

All you need is an Internet connection, a computer with speakers, and

basic typing skills. Live Help volunteers spend an average of 15 minutes a

day answering questions about Krishna (and more as you like.)

Some 1200 people a day visit BBT Krishna.com. Of those, about 100 ask

questions on the Live Help messaging system. They range from simple

questions about Krishna consciousness to more complex philosophical

issues. That's 100 potential new devotees a day that need your help

reconnecting with Krishna.

How Live Help works: Leave your computer running in the background,

connected to the Internet. When a live help message is routed your way,

you'll hear a chime resembling a door bell. The Live Help question will

pop up on your screen, and you can choose to reply or press "busy." If you

do nothing, after 20 seconds the message is routed to the next available

volunteer, or to the e-mail message center (staffed by a dedicated e-mail

volunteer.)

In the meantime you can do other work on your computer and have the Live

Help application running in the background. You can work around the house

or office, just leave your speaker volume turned up to hear the chime when

a Live Help message arrives. And when you're busy, or if you don't like

the question, simply click on "busy" or do nothing and the message will be

re-routed.

You'll have the opportunity to encourage serious seekers to buy and read

Srila Prabhupada's books. As a Live Help volunteer you'll get book points

for every book you distribute, and seva points for every Live Help request

you handle.

Can't wait to get started? Join the family of BBT Krishna.com Live Help

Sankirtana devotees today. Try it for a few days, a week, a month, and see

how you like it. There's no obligation or time commitment. Your

inspiration to preach is all that counts. Preach at your leisure, to

people who are coming to you and want to know more about Krishna. No cold

calls. No rejections on the street. No "too busy, have no time," or "not

interested" responses. What could be more blissful?

To get started, e-mail a brief resume of your devotional life and why you

would like to do Live Help, to info (AT) krishna (DOT) com.

Serious and sincere applicants only. BBT Krishna.com reserves the right to

refuse any applicant at their sole discretion.
