Guest guest
Dear Maharajas and prabhus, The Sagar Group -- of Krishna TV serial fame etc -- are some way down the line in planning a spiritual theme park at Haridwara, called 'Ganga Dhama'. It is a well thought through project that, in my view, could be quite successful. It will feature attractions such as areas dedicated to the Ramayana, a "Gokul Hall" dedicated to Krishna, and rides that depict Krishna lifting Goverdhana Hill, killing Kaliya and other pastimes. They expect in excess of 30,000 visitors a day and if this succeeds they hope to replicate the project in key locations around the world. They have raised much of the funds (including 100K USD from Alice Coltrane) but are still looking for rs, who will obviously have quite some influence over the content and presentation. Maybe this is an opportunity for affluent devotees to get involved. I am not sure, but it seems to me to be worth investigating if anyone is in a position to invest. At present two devotees are involved; SriNandanandana prabhu (Steven Knapp) as "spiritual advisor and researcher", and myself as "Researcher, Scholar, and merchandising and publishing Head". yhs Krishna Dharma das
