During the auspicious installation ceremony of the Panca Tattva deities, the

Mayapur Festival is expected to attract a record number of devotees from all

over the world, providing a wonderful opportunity for devotees and

well-wishers of ISKCON to render a unique and valuable service to those

visiting the Holy Dham.

 

As prasadam will be distributed to the over ten thousand visiting devotees

and guests without any fee, fortunate souls may take advantage of the

opportunity to sponsor prasadam during the festival. Srila Prabhupada

explains in the purport to Srimad Bhagavatam 3.16.8: "If one can feed a

brahmana or Vaisnava, it is better than performing hundreds of thousands of

sacrifices."

 

When such an act is performed in the Sri Dham Mayapur, where even taking a

step is considered to be more beneficial than ten million horse sacrifices,

one can well imagine the benefit derived.

 

The rates for sponsorship are as follows:

 

$1 (Rs. 45) sponsors one devotee's prasad for one day.

 

$5,000 sponsors an entire day's prasad for all the devotees.

 

Please feel free to contribute according to your means. The total amount

required is $100,000 and every contribution will bring us closer to

providing this service to the assembled devotees. Sponsorships are required

urgently as the festival dates are quickly coming upon us.
