The Tattva-Niyasa-Homa for Sri Panca Tattva Bhagavan ( 22-2-04)

Dear Devotees,

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Today February 22nd was one of the best ever in our Society in Mayapur. It

is the second day of the festivities for the Sri Panca Tattva Bhagavan deity

installation ceremony, and at 4:30 pm we had the mercy of seeing their very

merciful Lordships. It was a very special occasion called The

Tattva-Niyasa-Homa for Sri Panca Tattva Bhagavan. Senior devotees were

touching the Body of the Deities with Kusa Grass, the ceremony was also

accompanied by a Yajna performed by The Bhaktivedanta Academy, and Sri

Prahlada prabhu was guiding the devotees in this very important ritual while

His Holiness Sivaram Swami was leading the kirtan along with other Srila

Prabhupada Disciples. It is almost impossible to describe the environment

and blissful energy present at this moment, and very fortunate are those who

by the causeless mercy of Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu are present during this

transcendental ceremony.

The entire day we had very important celebrations beginning with the Adivas

of the Navadwip Mandal Parikram up to Yogapith. Thousands of devotees with

senior disciples of Srila Prabhupada went early in the morning to the

birthplace of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu as a preparation for the parikram on

the 24th, and at 10:00am there was Srila Prabhupada Katha. At 10:30 the Maha

Abhishekha of HDG Srila Prabhupada took place in the Pushpa Samadhi in

celebration of the 108th Anniversary year of His appearance day, ( this year

will be Srila Prabhupada's 108 Anniversary - we are not referring to the

day)and that is why devotees are performing a special ceremony while many of

SP's disciples are present.

At 4:00pm there was a session in the main pandal about Srila Prabhupada

Katha

before most of the devotees went to the Sri Panca Tattva Bhagavan temple for

the The Tattva-Niyasa-Homa for Sri Panca Tattva Bhagavan as Ii mentioned

earlier.

At 6:00 pm we had in front of the panca tattva temple the 108 Nitya Homa for

the donors and supporters of the festival and as usual nowadays we are

having

amazing Kirtans led by HG Aindra Prabhu.
