The delegation Parvati gave the sauce to was the delegation I formed to help

a devotee who we witnessed was dying in jail. No one on our delegation has

any involvement in an upheaval in Vrindavan temple. I select sincere senior

devotees who I have known for more than five years as credible,

knowledgeable,compassionate and honest persons with the rare quality of

integrity, who have been serving in ISKCON for nearly 20 years each.

THe amazing here is that what you just admonished Prabhupadacarya Prabhu for

you have just now done against me. You said "Speaking out about things you

have little knowledge of without understanding the real situation and making

judgemental comments." I find this very hypocritical and libelous and

request you to please immediately retract these erroneous statements.

 

The fact is that I am the legal tennant of the restaurant and have two court

orders to prove that. I am also not fighting any legal cases against ISKCON.

The court decision favoring the legality of the written contract I have with

ISKCON was made during the court case filed by Ghanshyam against ISKCON, I

have never filed a case against ISKCON and never plan to do so please don't

force me in that situation by libel statements that are sure to cause

interruption in the patronage of Govindas.

 

I have a 5 year contract with ISKCON to operate the restaurant and am not

required thereunder to pay any rent to ISKCON until my investment is

recouped, rather ISKCON was to repay me Rs. 25,000 per month according to

our written agreement, and I have not received even one of those payments to

date.Yet I have made several payments not required under contractual

obligation to the temple,despite the fact that I was not making any profits

in order to help support the temple.So far I have invested a huge sum of

laxmi in the restaurant and not in a position to simply walk away from all

this simply due to a change in temple administration who want to undo the

agreement I entered with previous administration.When the new administration

came I continued to pay the temple but they refused to give me a receipt for

my last payment even after having promising and there is where it stands

today.I am waiting for my receipt so that I can make my next payment.Bhima

Prabhu please ask Devakinandan Prabhu as to why is he being so unreasonable

in not accepting the laxmi in the usual fashion by issuing me a rent receipt

as was being done by previous management in good faith.

 

Regarding the changes mentioned above, there were no unauthorized changes

made by me. Perhaps you are misinformed about this. Have you even stepped

foot into the restaurant personally in the last 1 year or so? I wonder how

you can claim this.I think you are confusing the fact that we have upgraded

some of the old fixtures that made the restaurant look old and dingy and

whatever we did it has been with written consent of the new management.

 

I have always indicated my willingness to mediate our differences in the

past and after speaking with Bhima Prabhu I am always willing to cooperate

in a just manner where all parties are satisfied.We had several mediation

sessions earlier where considerable headway was made with the help of

Prabhupada Acharya and Braj Bihari Das,who helped us reach an agreement to

not file any further suits against one another.I preserved my word of honor

but they violated the agreement and filed a suit against me.Mediation has a

value when you deal with persons having enough integrity to keep their

words.Despite this failure on the part of Vrindavan Management I am willing

to give mediation another try with any other authority of integrity who can

legally represent ISKCON Vrindavan.
