Guest guest
Dear Devotees: Dandavat Pranams Today 14-05-2004 Apara Ekadasi was a very hot day in Mayapur until about 4 pm when suddenly a storm with heavy rain came out for short time to refresh the environment that was under a very heavy heat that was affecting all the area. It was a great mercy from The Lord to all the devotees and pilgrims, it also gave life to the gardens and flowers of this very holy place of the pastimes of Their Lordships Sri Panca Tattva Bhagavan and world Head-quarter of ISKCON. During this hot season we celebrate many festivals, like Candan Yatra and Jala Dan that finished yesterday, as well as before we had Noika Vilas, but until the next purnima we still celebrate the Shalila Vihar festival. Everynight HG Jananivas Prabhu prepares the pond to receive Their Lordships the small Deities of Radha Madhava and place them in their very beautifully decorated pond with a lot of fresh flowers and tulsis. while all the devotees make a very long Q to offer flowers and chant mantras to the Deities. At the end Maharpasad is served to all of them. Please see pictures of this very attractive festival. >From The Republic of South Korea we have in Mayapur the visit of the Voice of Asia TV program that is shooting many places in Mayapur but basicaly making a special program on the Indian traditional Music, and had few interviews with many devotees about the mantra meditation, kirtans and musical instruments, etc. Sri Sri Radha Madhava Kijay..! Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu Kijay..! Sri Sri Prahlad Narasimhadev Kijaya..! Srila Prabhupada Kijay..!
