Request for Assistance for Vaishnavas in the Armed Services

Dear Prabhus...

It has recently come to our attention, that there are a number of

Vaishnavas in the Armed Forces, serving in Iraq. We commend them for

their brave service.

As you may know, the soldiers there often need supplies over and above

what they get from the usual military supply lines.

We have contacted a few of them and their families and are looking for

others, so let us know if you know of any more.

We want to send them "Care Packages" with basic items like dried fruits

and nuts, nutritional bars, shampoo, soap, etc, etc. We've eMailed

them to find out what else they need.

If you would like to participate, please send any contributions to us

and we will take care of buying, packing and sending these Care

Packages. Or, if you prefer, we can send you their names and addresses

as they become available to us, so you can send these things directly.

We are NOT a non-profit organization, so there are no tax deductions

available. We are doing this as a personal service. Rest assured that

100% of your contributions will be used for buying these items and for

shipping. There will be no funds used to pay for our work or any other

'administrative' costs.
