Dear Temple Authority,

The following letter is circulating around ISKCON and I want to caution

everyone NOT TO GIVE OUT TAX INFORMATION to these people. My correspondence

with them has convinced me that they are up to no good. With your tax

information they can form a bank account and accept donations as ISKCON.

Please consult with your accountant before giving out this information.

My greetings to you from India, I would like to introduce myself as the

chairman & Managing Director of M/S Tetra Polymers & Packaging Ltd., a

12 year old public Ltd., Company with a turn over of Rs 146 CRORES

during 1997-1998. We've been constantly exporting to USA& European

Countries. I have personally visited ISKCON tempes in New York &

Chicago. We contribute Approximately RS 20,000,00/- (Twenty Lacs Only)US

$ 47,500 to charitable institutions and religious institutions, We have

also donated to ISKCON in India but we are facing many problems

regarding Tax Exemption when we donate different institutions in India,

we would like to donate 30-40% of our annual budget in the USA thru' our

Importers in the USA ( Subject to Reserve Bank of India's approval) I

Would request you to kindly answer these questions:

1) Are the donations accepted by you are exempted in the USA ?

2) What kind of certification you have from the United states revenue

Department?
