with the newspaper, which has temporarily been out of production.

SPECIAL NOTICE FROM HARE KRISHNA WORLD

 

Dear Friends and Devotees,

 

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

We apologize that it has been several months since we have been able to

produce another issue of Hare Krishna World. The delay has been due to a

severe financial shortage that has led us to conduct our first fund raising

campaign.

 

Fortunately, we are receiving a good initial response from our US readers

and we plan to print the next issue of HKW around April 14. Also, now that

we have the Laksmi, we are mailing that same fund raising letter to our

rs and friends around the world.

 

We will continue our efforts to solve the paper's financial problems to

insure its service to generations of devotees and ISKCON members to come.

The next issue will be a big one with lots of nectar. So we encourage all

of you to be sure you have a current subscription and support your Krishna

conscious newspaper.

 

According to our partnership with all ISKCON projects and enterprises, we

hope to be able to carry your news stories and advertising messages to

others, as well as deliver to you and your members encouraging information

about what is going on with our Hare Krishna family around the world.

 

Although Mukunda Goswami has retired from the GBC, his involvement with the

paper continues and we are grateful to be able to serve with him and HKW's

other Editorial Review Board members: Badrinarayan Prabhu, Ravindra Svarupa

Prabhu, and Bhakti-tirtha Swami--as well as so many preachers, managers,

correspondents, and community members around the world.

 

We thank you very much for your patience, blessings, and guidance in

helping us make Srila Prabhupada's newspaper all that he would want it to

be. We know he was very fond of news reports about the transcendental

activities of his movement and we must preserve ISKCON's only international

newspaper.

 

Please contact us with your suggestions, or for information about

subscriptions, bulk orders, advertising, story submission, ISKCON Archive

photos, contributions to HKW, or anything else.

 

Thank you very much for your kind support and participation during the past

18 years the newspaper has served our society.
