Guest guest
Vaisnava Yoga Teacher Training Course comes to Radhadesh, January 2005. Join His Holiness Sacinandana Swami, leaders of the Benelux region, England, Germany, America and Iran this January at the teacher training intensive for Atma Yoga, a yoga system based on Vaisnava philosophy. Founded by H.G. Atmananda Dasa, he has begun teaching it all over the world by the order of his spiritual master, H.H. Bhakti Tirtha Swami. Atma Yoga is hatha yoga and sankhya yoga infused with the spirit of bhakti, and has been very successful in the United States as a means of attracting new people to the Vaisnava community. Some of those people have become devotees of Krsna as a result, and many of them offer professional skills and help as service to the temple community as a result of establishing friendship with the devotees. The Atma Yoga program has been approved by many of ISKCON's GBC, Sannyasis, and Temple Presidents as offering valuable technologies which can be used by temples, centres or individuals as a means of attracting people to Krsna consciousness. Taking advantage of the immense popularity of 'yoga' in the modern world, Atma Yoga seeks to create an enjoyable and transformative experience for all who participate, gradually drawing them closer to the ultimate goal, bhakti-yoga. In the words of His Holiness Devamrta Swami, "this is a very important program for helping to spread Krishna Consciousness."
