Is the moon the moon?

Sadaputa prabhu explains all this in his books and presentations. In a

grossly oversimplified explanation, the sun is closer to the Earth's

*eliptic plane* than the moon is (the moon is higher in the sky than the

sun). The Vedic descriptions are from the perspective of the demigods, the

scientific description are from the human perspective. For the most part,

they are NOT contradictory. In fact, Sadaputa has shown that Bhagavatam

cosmology is remarkably accurate by modern western scientific standards,

right down to orbit plots and planetary body dimensions.
