Of course you can give a scientific explanation to everything that happens, but there is also a simple one. We all know that the sun is Krishna's eye and the moon is Balarama's eye. My husband once read the following story. One time Prabhupada was sitting in an airplain together with some devotees, as the plain flew through some thick clouds suddenly the sun appeared so strong and beautifull. And Prabhupada said "look at the sun glowing it is Krishna's eye" (thats what my husband told me) So knowing this I felt like the whole eclips happining was nothing else than Krishna and Balarama were playing hide and seek. This maybe a simple but transcendantel explanation which makes me feel much better and relaxed and even more aware of the fact that Krishna is everywhere. Hare Krishna. Your humble servant, Radhe devi dasi. (Text COM:2547737) --------
