Could you please give us some more evidence from sastra that the sun, and not the moon, is closer to the earth? I mean something more than Srila Prabhupadas purports. I know that Srila Prabhupada was using commentaries of different acaryas, mostly Sridhar Maharajas commentaries on Srimad-bhagavatam, while he was writing his purports. I would be interested to hear what did the other acaryas say about this topic. I am just curious where did Srila Prabhupada get that information from. Ys.
