What makes Y2K(Year 2000) the scare it is made out to be? What exactly is

likely to happen on saturday,January 1,2000? Experts predict that when the

doomsday comes,even as basic as travelling in lift could be fatal(or scary

experience at best),for the chip that controls it may just stop recognising

commands.

 

Please do this quick check to know whether your PC is YK compliant or not.

 

1. Go to the My computer,click control panel and the click on the date/time

icon.

2. Set date to 12/31/99 and time to 11:59:01. Wait for the date to change to

1/1/00. ..
