I deleted it, and now I need it. I did not see the article, but my dad used to tell me that Coca-cola makes a good paint remover. A common "science project" for some children is to leave an ungalvanized nail in Coca-cola overnight. Apparently, by the morning, the nail has dissolved away. Of course, the reason that the stomachs of those persons who ingest Coca-cola do not also rot away entirely is because the stomach is naturally a very acidic environment, and there is a stomach lining which is strong enough in most people to resist stomach acid or Coca-cola. When a person is weakened by a bacterium (heliobacter pylorum) this lining becomes thinned, and acids are free to attack the stomach wall and create ulcers. Aside from the fact that the Coca-cola Company is an multinational company which makes billions every year selling carbonated acidified sugar water, and the fact that they are a major contributor to ill health in teenagers who drink massive quantities of their stuff in preference to nourishing, bone-building milk, that is the sum and substance of what I know about Coca-cola. Maybe other devotees can help fill in the gaps in my rather thin presentation. Best wishes, Ananda das
