> The following is the report on H. H. Sridhar Swami's health :

> Maharaj has been suffering from CIRRHOSIS of liver since 1997. This is an

> irreversible liver disorder caused in his case by the Hepatitis 'C' virus.

> There is no currently available treatment for this condition.

> This year in Vrindavan during Kartik his condition deteriorated and thus

> water began to accumulate in his abdominal cavity. This fluid is called

> Ascitis. He had nearly 20 - 25 litres of fluid causing massive swelling in

> both both legs.

>

> In this condition he was admitted to at the Bhaktivedanta Hospital, Mira

> Road, three weeks ago. He was put on a salt free diet and diuretics (drugs

> which increase urine formation and thus eliminate excess fluid in the

> body). His weight dropped from 103 Kgs to 84 Kgs in two weeks.

>

> However since last four days he has become disoriented in his sensorium

> and was in an very early stage of Hepatic Coma or in a pre Comatose

> condition. Appropriate treatment has been given and he is slightly better

> today.

> This medical report has been given by doctors attending to him, namely Dr.

> Dhaval Dalal (Dwarkadish das) and Dr. Shailesh Baad (Sri Krishna Chaitanya

Please, let's offer a prayer and hold a special kirtan for H.H. Sridhar

Maharaja. We are (at least that I know that I am) in need of the association
