May 10 Update on the health of H.H. Tamal Krishna Goswami:

 

My dear godbrothers, godsisters, and well-wishers of His Holiness Tamal

Krishna Goswami,

 

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Last

time I wrote His Holiness Tamal Krishna Goswami was back in the hospital.

Since that time I am happy to report that he finally seems to be recovering

as the doctors anticipated. After three months they have now removed all of

the catheters and he is slowly regaining his strength.

 

He should be able to travel and be almost fully recovered in another six to

eight weeks, hopefully only left with two fairly large battle scars. As far

as any permanent kidney damage is concerned, final conclusions will only be

reached after another renal exam which will take place in a few months.

 

On his behalf, thank you all for the many sincere prayers during this

difficult period, and now for your continued well-wishes during his

recovery. I hope that this is the last update you will receive. From now

on,

no news is good news from our side of the world.
