Guest guest
In ISKCON in particular, there appears to be a large number of grades of disciples, from the novice to Governing Body Members. It appears to me that this set up is not much different from a political body. The result is disciples will tend to aspire to higher positions, which will inevitably make them power hungry, just like the politicians. The higher level disciples will get better facilities and comforts than their fellow disciples. Probably, God has created all beings as his children. All children must live and stay together as one family without having so many bosses above them. In each temple, just one unit head should suffice, who will act as the spokesperson. Hare Krishna !
