Dear Sumitra Krishna and Vijaya Venugopala Prabhus,

 

PAMHO. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Though COM is a free electronic

communication among the ISKCON devotees, I don't think you are benefiting

anyone by extholing the virtue of being an Indian, brown, white, black or

whatever. Srila Prabhupada did not start Krishna conciousness in the West

just because he was an Indian, and coming to tell Americans how great

Indians are. But he was an ambassador from God, Krishna, bringing the

eternal message of the spiritual world, and reminded every one that we are

not this body, but a spirit soul, who is an eternal servant of Krishna.

 

What is this nonsense of inferior race or a superior race. The real superior

race are the Harijanas, as described by Srila Bhaktissidhanta Sarasvati

Thakura. Those Harijanas are pure devotees of the Supreme Lord, who do not

have a shallow-mind like the people of this world who are pre-occupied by

their heredity in this world. The Harijanas only identification is their

attachment to Lord Krishna. All other identities end at the time of death.

 

We will do Iskcon a real justice if we stop all these verbiages about what

race or people are superior or inferior. It is not our philosophy, but a

manifestation of ignorance.
