Guest guest
It is not possible to get a virus simply by reading e-mail from Internet. The computer can be infected only if you decode and execute the received file, provided that is it an infected program that can run on your computer. The computer's processor cannot be damaged by software. In order to protect your computer from viruses you must check by a virus scan program (e.g. SCAN.EXE from McAfee) every new program that you install on your computer, independent how you received the program. And you must also check every diskette that was in another computer. Best would be if you installed a resident virus protection program.
