Guest guest
New Delhi, INDIA Dear Maharajas, Prabhus and Matajis, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Srila Tamal Krsna Goswami Maharaj. The profoundly deep and penetratingly sincere words of those who personally knew Srila Tamal Krsna Goswami Maharaja, had his close association, served him and loved him, could not help but leave devotees in the fully packed main temple hall of Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir deeply moved. Many were shedding quiet tears of sorrow and affection for the one who Srila Prabhupada had called "the most outstanding grandson of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati". With the approval and consent of a few senior devotees and Tamal Krsna Maharaja's senior disciples, we would like to share with you most of the remembrances of Srila Tamal Krsna Maharaja's wonderful qualities during the two days of his memorial service in Sridham Mayapur, 16-17 March 2002. The sound files are in RealAudio format. I will be sending them in their natural order in a series of comments on this letter, so you could conveniently download them. Included are also remembrances of HG Vrindavanesvari devi dasi, who departed in the same car accident. I would like to sincerely apologize for the poor quality of the sound files - there was very little or no time to prepare for a quality recording. I would also like to apologize for having missed out homages by HH Sridhar Swami, HH Prabhavisnu Swami, HH Gopal Krsna Goswami and a few other senior devotees due to technical problems. I hope that someone having recordings of their speeches could make up for the gaps and send them as well to this forum. Begging to remain your servant, Madana-mohana das
