Article in the AARP My Generation magazine surprisingly sensitive

The America Association of Retired People, an organization of tens of

millions over the age of 50, publishes a magazine, "My Generation,"

bi-monthly. The July/August edition includes a feature article,

"Testimony," about the abuse case against Iskcon. Turning the page with

trepidation, I was surprised to read a balanced account of the situation

written by a person who had obviously done her homework. Respectful to

Srila Prabhupada and the Iskcon society of devotees, the author presented

the Krishna consciousness movement with insight and honesty rarely seen in

journalistic circles re the Hare Krishna's. Please find a copy (the article

is not on the web although the magazine has a web address:

www.mygeneration.org and send your comments to the editor. This magazine is

ever bit as influential, if not more, than Time and Newsweek(but can hardly

hold a candle up to our own Back to Godhead).
