From an interview to H.H.Sacinandana Swami

Devotees on stage chanted the maha mantra before 10.000 people.

 

 

 

"When we started the harinam, the devotees were slowly getting in the right

mood that is to please Lord Krishna. Then we arrived in the main square and

I saw the stage I immediately wanted to go with the devotees on the main

stage. I asked our Guru carana Prabhu and he said he tried for so many

years but it was never been possible; only the TV stars could go there.

But we tried anyway and the organizer said "Yes, come back in one hour, when

our show will be over, you can came." When we went on the stage I understood

that we were not there thanks to our endevours and our arrangements. It has

been possible only because Krishna made it possible. For Krishna the word

'impossible' it is really an impossible word. He can render everything

possible. So I understood that He made the impossible possible. Because

Krishna was satisfied of the devotees He gave them a chance to spread

Krishna consciousness in a very bigger way than normal.

I think there is a principle to follow if we want to utilize events like

that of yesterday as a stepping stone for the future. We must understand the

yesterday's principle and apply it for the future. The principle we applied

was that we sincerely tried to please Krishna and apparently, somehow

Krishna has been little satisfied of us and He organized that wich usually

could never happened.

Could you imagine how much would cost such a stage?

Imagine the tremendous paper work needed to get the permission for the best

place of Venice to have a preching program.

We do not have enough money, political contacts and.. patience. But Krishna

made it possible and made it a success. They told me that seeing the

devotees on the stage was a wonderful sight.

I think for the future we need to continue to try to please Lord

Krishna, and Krishna is so much pleased when He sees that devotees come

together and do something together.

In the Skanda Purana it is said:

"It is questionable if those who serve the Lord pleases the Lord, but those

who serve the devotees certainly will satisfy the Supreme Personality of

Godhead"

Thus we should follow this approach into our life. We must serve devotees,

please, satisfy devotees of Lord Krishna,and cooperate with them; and then

it will be very easyly possible to have again many more stages like this one

and have many more devotees going to such harinams, have many well

functioning projects and most important- well integrated, happy devotees,

who are free from doubts and engaged fully in the service of Krishna."
